The management of the University of Ibadan Hotels, Nigeria has guaranteed availability of decent hotel rooms for TOFAC conference participants, the least being Double room Queen Bed at N8,500 (USD57)/night. Other rooms are Double room Twin Bed and Special King Bed for N15,000($100)/night (each; Royal Suite N17,000($114)/night; Mini Suite for N25,000($167)/per night & Executive Suite N30,000($200)/night.; deposit inclusive in the tariffs.
There is also the possibility of willing participants pairing up. The hotels are located right there at the conference center the venue of TOFAC, and as such it is more convenient for participants. Of course there are hotels outside the University campus which are either within the same price range, or slightly cheaper in some cases, they will require that conference participants arrange transportation to/fro each day.
And because we are to trying as much as possible to make TOFAC as rewarding and pleasantly memorable as possible, the TOFAC LOC will provide transportation to/from conference venue each day for participants who may choose another decent hotel not too far from the university. For reasons of logistic, participants can pay and check-in on arrival, but they need to inform either Prof Okpeh or Prof Dasylva to make such reservation on their behalf.
April 12: 2011 Abstracts for the Conference have been uploaded. They are arranged Alphabetically using the Last Name of the Authors. New Deadline for Abstract submission Friday, June 24, 2011
