Ademola, the Editor is a church historian and author of Nigerian Baptist History, and has a keen research interest in the cultural studies of sub-Saharan Africa.. He obtained his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D degrees in History, at the University of Ibadan. He is a Senior Lecturer and a former Acting Head of History Department. Dr. Ajayi has also taught briefly at the University of Abuja, Nigeria, and The Gambia. Author of several scholarly articles and book chapters, Dr. Ajayi is the co-author (with Dr. Oguntomisin) of Reading in Nigerian History and Culture.
